This state of the art 87-acre outdoor recreational complex has four baseball/softball fields, with expansive covered dugouts and is designed for major tournament play. A large fenced-in playground is conveniently accessed from the ballpark. Additional amenities include: a regulation soccer and football field, two rubberized basketball courts, two rubberized tennis and pickleball courts, two deep sand volleyball courts, regulation horseshoe pits, The Evelyn Alexander Water Park, a world-class eighteen hole disc golf course that hosts tournament play. A walking trail network through a safe and beautiful natural setting that provides handicapped accessibility. The complex houses three large shelters and a gazebo near the Hawks Nesting Pond and are available for rent. Pulaski County Motorsports Park continues to be a major draw for racing enthusiasts with its 0.416 oval track and drag strip featuring a jam-packed race schedule that includes the Monster Truck Series. Got a need for speed? Check out the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience to get behind the wheel of a race car. The Motorsports Park also has go-karts available for all to enjoy!
Calfee Park is a historic stadium dating back to 1935. The stadium at one time hosted rookie-level teams in the Appalachian League, where players such as David Justice, Javy Lopez, and Travis Snider played. In 2021 Calfee became the home ballpark of the Pulaski River Turtles in the Appalachian League, a summer collegiate baseball league. The park holds approximately 3200 people and has undergone extensive multimillion-dollar renovations. The renovations made it so the park was declared the BEST Rookie Level ballpark in America.
