Our Newbern Founders Day Feast celebrates the founding of Newbern, Virginia, in 1810, and will feature the following delectable German dishes: Pichelsteiner (Bavarian Stew with Back Creek Wagyu), Alpine Cheeses from Meadow Creek Dairy, Bauernbrot Bread, Bienenstick Kuchen (Bee Sting Cake), Select Beverages
The meal will be served in the 1818 German Barn, and stories of local German and Swiss Revolutionary War Patriot stories will be shared throughout dinner. $35 per person donation, reservations required, and limited seating available. Email to register wrrm5240@gmail.com
